19 members were present, meeting started at 5:30PM. A 50/50 drawing was held with John Jayne winning $117 (guess who is buying drinks).

Discussed Items:

1. Constitution & By-Laws – The C&By-Laws were posted to the website on Feb-5th. If there are no comments or required changes by March 7th these will become valid for 2025. This is according to Article IX of the C&BL.

• a. The members present at the meeting were asked if there were any changes or comments. No member responded. The MGA board reminds all members to make any comments or request changes no later than March 6th.

• b. The Board made the members present aware of Article IV – Officers, Section 1 - The terms of each office will be for 2 years. (For the initial year (year 1), the Vice President and Secretary positions will be elected for one year only. The following year (year 2), those two positions will be elected again. Then, the following year (year 3), the President and Treasurer positions will be elected again, thus alternating the officer elections and therefore maintaining continuity.

2. Dues for non-Mill Creek Members – Per Article III Membership and Dues, Section II, It was discussed and voted by members at the meeting that non-Mill Creek members will be charged $70 for MGA membership. This is $20 over MC members cost.

3. Handicap and Rules Committee Chairman – Per Article VII, Section I, Jason Jacobus was appointed the committee chairman.

4. Valid GHIN Handicap – To participate in any MGA tournaments all members must have a valid GHIN handicap. Failure to have this GHIN handicap will result in being designated as “scratch” (zero) handicap.

5. March 20th Tournament - This will be 4-Man Teams (Blind Draw) using Stableford point scoring.

• a. SIGN-UP – You can do this on the website on the Tournaments Tab, there is a RED button. Click this and it will open a Google Sheet to enter your name. Fill this in and close and it will automatically update. You can also leave a message at the MC pro-shop. Sign-up ends March 17th.

• b. Each MGA member will receive (2) free drink tickets good for two beer/wine or one mixed drink.

6. March 21st MGA Party – This will start ~6:00PM and end ~9:00PM. MC bar will be open. We are asking MGA members to bring finger foods/ appetizers. A sign-up sheet will be sent out prior to the party. Your significant other & the LGA members are invited.
